ITB hosts its 18th Graduation Ceremony

The Institute of Technology Blanchardstown (ITB, welcomed almost 1,000 (924) students to their 18th graduation ceremony on Friday 9th November 2018, with students receiving awards at Level 6 (Higher Certificate) to Level 9 (Masters) along with the first graduation of the Learn & Work Higher Certificate in Science in Computing in Networking Technologies. This graduation marks the final ceremony as ITB before they become TU Dublin on 1st January 2019.

Dr. Diarmuid O’Callaghan, President, ITB, said at the Graduation, “I wish to offer my congratulations to all our graduates. Today is a momentous occasion in the history of ITB. This graduation ceremony is the 18th and final graduation ceremony of the institute, before it becomes TU Dublin in January 2019. TU Dublin will be innovative, creative and entrepreneurial and will offer a joined-up approach to the third-level experience that involves connecting students, employers, researchers and the wider academic community to facilitate economic transformation and sustainable growth in the greater Dublin Region. TU Dublin will be a place where our students, staff and partners will connect with academic programmes to create Ireland’s skilled graduates of tomorrow.”
